Events in school week commencing 5th March 2018
As ever it is very busy in school and here are some dates and reminders for this week and next:
First book week:
Wednesday children will be reading across the school,
Thursday bring into school your favourite ever book to share (remember to pop your name in this)
Friday dress as your favourite book character and bring in £1 minimum donation for tha charity Dogs Helping Kids. Find out more at http://www.dogshelpingkids.co.uk/
Also send in your pictures to rcoultart@stnicholas120.herts.sch.uk of you reading in unusual places so that we can upload them to the Selfie site on our book club pages on FROG for all to enjoy - be in with a chance of winning a £5 book token.
Second Mothers day stall:
Mothering Sunday Gifts
Year 6 are holding their traditional Mother's day sale
The sale will be held on Thursday 8th March
Gifts will be available to buy from £1
If anyone has any unwanted items that they are happy to donate, these will be greatly appreciated and can be brought to the Year 6 classroom.
Thirdly:
Preparation for the Royal Albert Hall
Our choir led by the wonderful Mr Chris Hart and Mrs Chrisitne Shortland will be performing at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 11th March - if you are a family involved with this look out for last minute information sent to you by Mr Hart and Mrs Shortland. We wish them luck and hope they have the best time ever!
Finally:
Our dance troop are getting ready to perform at the Gordon Craig on Thursday 29th March 2018. If your child is involved there is a rehearshal; after school (in school) next Tuesday 13th March - you will need to collect at 4:!5pm. Please look out for updates from Mrs Stead and Mrs Ruddlesdon who will be getting the children ready for this.
Of course there is also all other normal activities too!
