Read Write Inc launch at school

Many of you will remember our exciting news from last term about our successful bid through the Education Endowment Foundation to be a control school for the read, write inc program.  This means we are partnered with the Ruth Miskin foundation, Read write inc and Belfast university.  Over the next two years we will be changing the way we teach phonics, reading and writing and most importantly for us delivering the fresh start program for children who may have joined us from other countries and who have English as an additional language.  There will be lots of information support and advice for our parents going on this website, on FROG and of course home in book bags.  If you want to find out more now please follow this link:
