The story of the Santa special book signing by ex - St Nicholas Pupil

Further to our email last week we are now pleased to let you know that Andrew Humphries (ex- St Nicholas Pupil) will be appearing for a special book signing after the Carol concert this Tuesday.

The book retails at £4.99 but Andrew is offering £1 from the sale of each book to the friends of our school for all the fantastic work that they do.

Don't worry if you can't make the carol concert but would still like a book you can buy directly from Andrews company site - He will still donate the £1 to the school. You can do this by clicking on the below web address.

Now you may wonder why the book is under the nae A. S Pulman?  This is Andrews writing name and it is quite usual for authors to write under a different name. Here is a little bit more about Andrew, in his won words:

It's interesting that where I am today is a direct result of St Nick's and its emphasis on music. I learnt trumpet whilst at St Nicholas and ended up doing a degree in music. Upon leaving music college I worked for Faber Music Publishing and then became in- house record producer for The Reader's Digest Association. In 2003 I formed my own multi-media publishing company 'Memory Lane Media Ltd'. Memory Lane has produced bespoke products for a host of prestigious clients, inc.  Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, the IWM, and The National Trust. Furthermore, it has produced and published DVDs, CDs and books for the gift shops of the UK heritage sector - including heritage steam railways. And so you might appreciate why I thought it a good idea to co-author and publish a children's Christmas book about a steam engine!
